"Might be ok. Didn't open package. See below."

    by snidely9447 on January 25, 2009

Pros: Good form factor lie our old H700..

Cons: Returned it unused because we saw thru the package it didn't use the same std. charger (small USB connector used by other Moto, Blackberry, and other cell products. It uses a ultra-small USB connector w. the charger not used by any other product.

Summary: If you don't mind carrying multiple chargers, this might be ok. Why Moto doesn't standardize chargers across their whole product line is beyond me. The H700 uses the std, mini USB charger used by other Moto products.

A month after writing the original review I read that the micro usb charger connection had been adopted as the future std. for all cell phones and devices by most manufacturers for future models. We bought two of these in feb. 2009. They both worked perfectly, altho one is now dying. We are heavy users. I just ordered 3 more from two diff. power sellers on Ebay. 2 of the 3 were DOA. Never had Ebay problems w. dozens of other purchases.
I wear mine all day and nevr of conscious of it. Perfect voice quality in and out.

Once we discovered that the micro USB charging method will now be the std. for most all cell phones and devices, we each bought one of these in Feb., 09. They have worked perfectly. Like the H700 model, you don't even know you are wearing it. (We both wear ours all day.)
Problem, one suddenly didn't project a loud enough voice after 8 months. Person called just heard a faint voice. Tried buying 3 "Brand New" ones (a replacement and gifts) off Ebay (where we got the originals - from 2 different dealers. All 3 were DOA. (Mega dealers, 99% ratings) One was replaced before even recvg. the bad one back. Other 2 were mailed back and, supposedly, replacements are now on the way. In meantime, went to Staples who was running a half off sale this week - $40 instead of their usual MSRP of $80 - and bought one. It works perfectly. I never had trouble w. Ebay products before (80 purchaes over the years). We paid about $23-$25 incl. shipping.

What kind of review is this? You never tried to use the product. Useless "review" and it detracts from the overall rating of the item. Next time read the product specifications before you order and don't waste your time or ours, OK?
