  • "My boom mic stopped also after less than 4 months"
    1.5 stars
    on by Ohioblueyes

Pros: This is the only over the ear and not in the ear blue tooth product for cell phones. The battery life is good and was very quick to pair to my phone.

Cons: My boom mic stopped also after less than 4 months. This is technically the 3rd H series blue tooth I've owned. The first (H700) and third (H710) boom mics stopped working. The second (H700) stopped holding a charge and stopped connecting to my phone.

Summary: I'm a little concerned that Motorola keeps putting out new blue tooth units and that the quality is really dropping. They have an H 15 unit as well as an H720 on the market now. I purchased my H710 on Dec 24, 2009 and by April 2, 2010 the mic had stopped working. I'm currently working with Motorola to get a replacement unit sent to me.

I'll follow up with that unit to let you know how that one works.
