"very impressive audio quality and function list, if you can hack/workaround (see opinion)"
Pros: 8 buttons on headset, optional wired connection. The mic picks up well
Cons: high quality audio (a2dp) profile must be hacked on win xp due to copyright protection.(see opinion section for workaround)
Summary: a2dp is the profile/standard for high quality bluetooth audio streaming. Due to copyright protection and limited support (as of now anyways) most win XP users will need to employ a hack/workaround to get a2dp quality audio. If you can get this to work... wow! the audio quality is amazing.
The headset supports functions such as volume +/-, switch song/track up or down, start/stop on an a2dp. The headset will simultaneously connect to a mobile phone and a2dp audio device. The headset will automatically pause music playback when a call comes in. Motorola is not helpful in solving the a2dp profile problem.
Workaround:
I downloaded IVT BlueSoleil version 1.4.9.5 to control my onboard bluetooth connection. This solved the problem. Be advised, this does not work for everyone. Some have had to hack registry entries to disable to a2dp copyright protection.

just would like to say that it isn't really a con of the headphones that windows xp has that copy protection or w/e, but more a con of windows xp. For example, it works fine with windows vista and a DBT-122

Can you post where you got this software from? I just got a pair of these and they work great with my treo 605, but I have yet to get them to work with my desktop computer. The bluetooth connection shows as "connected" but still nothing comes out of the headphones, although when I turn on the speakers the music is comming out of them instead.

Do anyone know if this will work with the Apple iPod?
