"Gets the job done well"
on by charter10Pros Sleek look, very light, easy pairing w/phones
Cons Next gen should be 10-20% smaller
Summary Have had this phone for about 2 months now. Bought through Best Buy, and figured, return w/in 30 days if unsatisfied. Used it in many Bay Area and Norcal/SoCal locations, and people on the other line had a hard time realizing I was on a BT headset. Decided to keep this, as it works well w/my Nokia 6682 and wife's Nokia 6230.

"Great features and ease of use aside, the feedback is horrible"
on by alexfitzPros Easy to set up and use, have hear ohters very well
Cons People complain that there is horrible echo!
Summary First off, this headset is well designed and super-easy to use with my Razr V3. You can answer calls, do 3-way calling, adjust the orientation and function of the buttons, and more with a couple of button pushes. As far as features go, this thing is great, BUT on my unit there is a echo effect [no matter how you move the unit; close to cheek or away] that really drives people crazy! I only use it while im driving for safety now. Maybe I got a bad unit, but I hear this has been a problem on some other Motorola units. I’m going to buy a headset. It’s a shame I love the design, features, and price of this one.

"looks nice, works well"
on by mohseen87Pros small, hott
Cons annoying sound
Summary Just one problem, i often get this very annoying sound that goes off randommly, i think its the low battery sound but it goes off even right after charging, im yet to find out what it means, the paperwork i got with the headset isnt really helping either

"Much more attractive than functional"
on by MEL_999Pros Attractive
Cons Listeners could not hear or understand me, felt like it would fall off my ear
Summary I replaced my cell phone with a Razor and began the search for a new headset. I first got the Motorola 500 from the Verizon store - listeners could not hear or understand me. I read reviews and ordered an Anycom HS890 which went into sleep mode after 2 min and had trouble reconnecting. The sound quality on both sides was ok. My next purchase was the Motorola H3 - I had trouble hearing to the point I was holding it against my ear while talking and the sound to others was reported to me as "tinny" and "echoing". I now have the Plantronics 640 Discovery - so far I can hear callers and they can hear and understand me. It connects easily with the phone and stays connected.

"Easy/simple to use, but low volume is a HUGE problem"
on by nummthumzPros Easy to use, simple styling, comfortable
Cons Extremely low volume
Summary I used the H3 for about a week and had to return it. It works great in a quiet office environment, but is almost unuseable in a car while traveling on a highway. I had it paired with my Motorola Q and turned the volume all the way up on both my headset and on the phone, but to no avail. I had to hold my finger against the headset and ask the caller to repeat themselves...not exactly the best thing to do while driving. It's a shame because I really liked the headset, but the lack of volume was a deal breaker.
