"I had over 10 headsets and this one finally got it right"

by freshyfresh on May 28, 2006

    Pros: form,weight,design,volume

    Cons: havent found any yet

Summary: i have had over 10 headsets and thank god they came out with this one so i can stop looking for the right one. All i have to say is just to buy and you will see the best. learn from my mistakes. the best thing about this is that you do not have to wear it around your ear with the hook attachment. its so light that it doesnt have a problem of falling out, and there is no jeel pieces for your ear that makes you get a headach after a while

Having lost my trusty Motorola Bluetooth headset (which is large and bulky in comparison to today?s models), I was desperate to find a replacement.

The Nokia BH-800 was the only bluetooth headset that didn't look like a toy or gadget. Although Radio Shacks price of $179 was a bit intimidating. What sold me was when I held the headset in the palm of my hand. It is the lightest bluetooth headset ever! In fact, you can't even feel weight when you hold it, its like your holding nothing at all.

The performance was superior to the $100 Motorola that it replaced. It is easier to hear because of the in-ear head piece and it doesn?t swing off my ear when I rotate my head. In addition, the stand-by and talk time seemed equal to that of my bulky Motorola.

If you're like me and you like to maintain a corporate style, go for the black/silver model. It looks so much better than the toyish, gadgety Motorola I used to sport on my ear (and remove whenever I was in public because I was ashamed of it). Instead, the Nokia looks sleek and stylish. When worn on the around neck lanyard it looks like a piece of jewelry and actually accents my suit.

Although it adds more weight, the ear loop is mandatory as the headset tends to fall out easily without the loop to support it.
