"Important warning about this product..."
1.0 starson by smokinluPros: Stylish, cool accesories
Cons: Sound quality inferior to the competition at this price, doesn't stay in ear, plastic ear piece easily lost
Summary: The most important reason I suggest avoiding this product is it doesn't stay in your ear without the cheap optional ear clip. However, the cheap optional ear clip easily falls out and is lost. When you contact Nokia asking deperately to get a new one, they tell you you they don't sell that piece separately, so you are out of luck (not covered by warranty). The Cnet video alludes to some voice quality issues, but they are no small problem. My next bluetooth, after having my nokia rendered useless because of a stupid piece of plastic, will be a Jawbone.

first of all the sound quality is fantastic, espcially for $50 at any corporate cingular store. However I have noticed that bluetooth headset sound quality can vary greatly depending on what phone you have; I have a samsung sync a707 and it works great with mine. Also, the optional ear loop is held in so tightly that it is little bit of a challange to get it in the headset, so I don't see how it is possible for it to fall out, and I have worn it all day without the ear loop and it never falls out (this could also depend on ear size too of course). Another possibility is that this reviewer got a counterfeit one off the internet, there are a lot of those being sold at places like ebay, and even amazon. Try a bh-801 from a cingular (now AT&T) coporate store and I think you will love it.
