"best headphones ever" on by medrberg
Pros: -as good or better noise cancellation than my bose
-good sound quality in calls and music
-bluetooth
-very good carrying case for protection (although as bulky as bose qc2 case)Cons: -bluetooth still limited compared to wired in terms of music quality
-price-very expensive but on par with bose in terms of price
-fairly bulky, but smaller than the bose over the ear phones(qc2), probably same size as their qc3.Summary: Completely disagree with last review. The active noise cancellation is meant to cancel out low frequency noises like when you are on a flight. I got these in nokia store in chicago this weekend. Got on airplane tonight and when I turned on the noise cancellation it was amazing. It wasn't totally silenced, but these "on ear" headphones were as quiet as the over the ear bose noise cancellation headphones i was replacing (they broke), which is pretty amazing. I hooked the bluetooth to my iphone, and in response to someone else who asked what controls work, the play/pause button works on the headset as does the volume control when you are controlling the iphone through bluetooth. It is an apple limitation that the track forward/back buttons don't work at this point. However, there is a 'multifunction' button that you hold down for 2seconds which activates voice control. Using voice control is pretty amazing and you can say "next track" or "play artist x" or "play album x" or play playlist x. This is actually way more functional than just the forward/back button, and I am sure at some point apple will update their firmware and fix the problem. I also put these on in the car ride home to test out making phone calls. They were crystal clear to me and the person i was speaking to. I am not sure where the speaking microphone is, but it definitely picked up my voice adequately (there is no boom mic). Also, I turned on the noise cancellation in the car and it made a huge difference as well, making the call much clearer. Prior to these headphones, I had a plantronics bluetooth set for wireless music for the gym and I had my wired bose set with noise cancellation for the plane. Now I have one set that does it all. Yes these are expensive but they are worth the price if you want noise cancellation and bluetooth capabilities in one set.

"Good quality, but bluetooth is spotty" on by riw
Pros: Good quality sound.
Cons: Each time you sleep the computer, the driver reverts to mono sound at a very low rate. You must remove the drivers and reinstall them to get it back to stereo quality.
Summary: This is a nice set of headphones --just what I was looking for, in terms of getting a set of phones that I wouldn't need to plug in every time I wanted to listen to something on my laptop. The first connection was a pain, but I finally did get it working (after uninstalling a bunch of cruft Dell installed).
The problem is that every time my computer sleeps, the bluetooth connection reverts to mono sound at a very low bit rate --tape recorder, I think it says. To get the sound back to a nice stereo, I must turn the headphones off, uninstall the drivers in the device manager, remove the device from the device manager, turn the headphones on, go through the process of finding bluetooth devices, reinstall the drivers, then go back into the device and tell my system to use it for music and wireless calls again. This entire process takes about 5 minutes, generally making it only useful if I plan on listening to something more than a short video clip.
It's too bad such a nice design and sound quality has to be marred by something as simple to fix a bluetooth drivers. I've called Dell, and they couldn't figure anything out, just blamed it on the win7 bluetooth drivers. I talked to MS, they say it's a Dell problem. I tried to talk to Nokia, but they just don't answer the phone.
Bottom line: These are fine for connecting via a wired connection, but the bluetooth connection is horrible. -
"Amazing headphones." on by qman66
Pros: Great battery life. ANC is good and works well. Great for making phone calls and music/podcasts and other media. Very comfortable, great design.
Cons: The headphones have froze several times. Once I found out how to reset them it wasn't a big deal. Other than that there are absolutely no cons on these amazing headphones maybe a way to see remaining battery life would be nice.
Summary: I bought these in July 2010 and a year and a half later these are still going strong. Extremely durable and well worth the $240 I spent on this. I use them at the gym and even though they look like they may fall off your head they don't.

"poor quality - music stops after a few minutes" on by jlysic
Pros: I have owned several blue tooth over the ear headsets, I work in noisy environments & like them at the gym also.
This unit is a bit too heavy for the gym but the blue tooth phone communications work well.Cons: This Nokia has been a real disapointment no matter the price. While listening to music or watching Netflix from my I-Phone the audio will suddenly stop and I have to power cycle the thing to get it back. The odd part is that this doesn't happen to my phon
Summary: I would not recomend this - bummer - I really want a good headset & I've blown my $$ on the wrong one..:(
