Quick Take: One of the more peculiarly designed headsets, the Nokia Clip-On HS-3W employs an earbud that connects, via a wire, to a small belt clip. Although the earbud fits nicely in the belt clip's dock, thanks to well-placed magnets, the wire gets tangled easily, and the earbud's comfort level is no better than a generic cell phone headset's. On the plus side, the headset is lightweight and compact, and it uses the same charger as Nokia cell phones. On the downside, the buttons on the belt clip are too small and often hard to push.

We tested the headset on the Nokia 6820, the Motorola V600, and the Sony Ericsson T616. While callers said the outgoing sound quality was superb, we thought that incoming sound quality to be a bit metallic. Nokia promises 4 hours of talk time and 4.2 days on standby.
