I have always stuck with brands that I know and trust. From Sennheiser to Sony and Aletec Lansing ear buds, I have always trusted them for a great sound. I have been reluctant to purchase headphones over 100 dollars unless I find them for a great deal. I always wished I could enter the Audiophile world and experience what they did. I've listened to Grado all the way to the newer Beat's. I have to say, I did not trust a company I grew up knowing to make razors being put on my ears. Until I actually listened to them. These headphones are simply the most comfortable thing that I have rested on my head. The band does not squeeze your brains out like a pair of Skullcandy's Skull-crusher headphones, or weigh a ton like the 400 dollar pair of Beat's. The padding used for the ear cups are feather like. They are firm, yet allow you to know their presence. The "Musicseal" that they describe is what really isolates you from everything that is going on around you and what give them such a great soundscape. The acoustics are amazing. I could even hear people talking in the background of one of the songs I was listening to! The best thing about these, as we all hope a high priced headphone has, is sound quality. The highs are not tingy at all. They are crisp and light, yet hold your attention. The mids are warm and lift up the music. The bass though is powerful, yet does not overpower the mids or highs. If you want to get your own pair of audiophile headphones for a great deal, I would recommend these completely.
