"Best Bluetooth headset I've had yet!"
on by jmclfrshPros Ultra-quick pairing with two different cellphones I have, one work, one personal. Great voice quality and the case that actually charges it up is cool too. Highly recommmended.
Cons Actually, nothing. Found it for $67 on-line and it's a great bargain.
Summary Small, stays in place, great voice quality, extremely lightweight and pairs quickly with two cellphones. What more could one ask for? I tried a Jawbone 2 (too uncomfortable and would not work with two phones at once) a Plantronics 665 (great car charger but would not work with two phones at once) and my original Plantronics 510 (is fine but a little bulky) before trying this and it fit the bill. Look around online for a good price and you won't be disappointed. I wasn't at least, and I'm picky about absolutely everything.

"Great Specs and feature list, ultimately disappointing"
on by Crunchy_FrogPros Lightweight and great fit overall, multi-point technology a bonus, easy to use, carrying case with charger
Cons Inconsistent Bluetooth performance, sub-par audio performance, very expensive, confusing setup with two phones
Summary When I saw the 925 I was intrigued with its look and fit design. The multi-point feature sold me since I always carry two phones for work and personal and have to use different headsets and hands-free technology.
After a full week with the 925, I am planning on returning it today. The reasons are simple, but I am very disappointed with the product since it had so many great features.
In short, the audio quality was average at best. There has been a lot of complaints about audio issues and I am afraid my experience was the same. Any wind or background noise made some calls impossible to complete. The long delays (up to 2 seconds) to connect to calls was frustrating and some calls required 2 button pushes just to hang up as the thing would not respond properly.
The real kicker was that I use MS Voice Command on my work phone and even though the 925 has the feature to activate it, it only worked 30-40% of the time and I could never figure out why. I called tech support and they could not help either.
I plan to try one of the Voyager series instead and if that does not work I plan to go back to my Jawbone II which served well but was uncomfortable and did not connect two phones. -
"TERRIBLE audio in and outbound. Sooo disappointed."
on by gnet50Pros Rechargeable carrying case.
Rechargeable Carrying case.
Other than that this is the worst piece of _ _ _ _!Cons Horrible voice quality, many times people could not hear a thing I was saying. It is supposed to eliminate background noise not amplify it! Inbound audio quality was unbearingly tinny (plenty loud at the highest level). Ear gels kept falling out.
Summary Unbeleiveably disappointed here. Had solid hopes, but complete failure. The original Jawbone is what I settled on because it is really great. The new Jawbone is another piece of Junk. Save cash and get an awesome device with the Jawbone original for $60 now. That is what I did and very happy (not perfect but best thing out there).

"best I've had yet, and I've had them all"
on by musicmandiscoPros comfortable and unique
Cons lack of mechanical controls on headset
Summary I work for a wireless company and get to use any headset I please; Jawbone, blue ant, moto, and jabra bow down and learn something from the company that has been making headsets since we put man on the moon. Though this little gadget may look like a space age tooth pick- its got the functionality to make your conversations worth paying for. I love this headset for a few worthy reasons: The charging case... I never am without a charged headset. The multi-point technology is almost as cool as multi-touch :) Having two phones is cumbersome... Having a headset for both is down right ridiculous! The 925 simplifies this and talks to both. As far as sound quality goes... I will admit that the jawbone 1 or 2 is still the leader of the pack. How ever, the 925 has pristine sound quality in most environments and quickly adapts to changes in ambient noise, even when exposed to a sudden gust of wind. The unit pipes the sound your party hears subtly back into your ear so you can turn your head or adjust it accordingly knowing with full confidence that they no longer hear the noise. As with all BT headsets... you get what you pay for, and this headset lives up to the brand and price. ps it looks great with sunglasses ;)

"One of the best bluetooth headest on the market!!"
on by JR_RiderPros Sound quality is superb, best I have experienced from a headset. Carrying case that is also a charging solution is a great accessory. Very straightforward pairing. Very light unit that fits well.
Cons Does not have earloops although the unit never fell out of my ear. Volume controls are somewhat cumbersome. No mute button.
Summary I purchased this unit after reading many reviews here on Cnet. It seemed that this unit was very highly rated and well liked. I purchased this unit from a Verizon Retailer so that I could utilize an employee discount. I could have certainly gotten a better deal online but I had to have the headset right then so I did what I could.
Upon opening the packaging, I was pleasantly surprised to see that not only was there a wall charger and a USB charger but there was this neat littlle storage pouch that also served as a charging solution. This little pouch was good one good full charge, which I thought was a great bonus. After charging the unit I decided to give it a test run.
Upon initially turning the unit on, it automaticlally enters into pairing mode which is great. The unit comes with three different size eargels to ensure a great fit. I will say that I tried all three gels and the medium fit the best for me. It seemed that the unit was unsecure with the eargels alone, since there was not an option to install an earloop. I must say though that the earpiece did not come out of my ear even one time with any of the eargels though.
The most important feature to me when selecting a bluetooth headset is performance since it doesn't matter how cool the headset looks if you can't hear and this unit certainly delivers. This is the first time I have ever used a bluetooth headset and actually had to turn the volume down! The sound quality on my end is superb and even the people on the other end stated that the sound was clear and the background noise was muted. I am always able to hear with this unit and enjoy using it as it is very comfortable to use. I compared this unit to a Jawbone 2 and there was no comparison. The Plantronics Discovery blew the Jawbone out of the water.
I would highly recommend this headset to anyone in the market for a quality headset that produces great sound. Make sure to shop around for a great price though.
