The good: Easy to slip on and off; good sound quality.

The bad: No integrated answer/end button or in-line volume control; fit could be more secure.

The bottom line: The M130 is a good alternative for those looking for something in between an ear bud-style and a headband-style headset.

Review: Over-the-ear headsets are less obtrusive than their headband-style equivalents. Even better, they won't mess up your hairstyle. One such headset, the stylish, relatively comfortable Plantronics M130, offers decent sound quality and is particularly well suited for in-car use.Over-the-ear headsets are less obtrusive than their headband-style equivalents. Mixed breed
The M130 is fairly light and slips easily on and off either ear, though it does require some tinkering to get a secure fit. The foam-padded speaker, which is a bit bigger than the ear bud, sits against your ear, not inside it. We also appreciated the adjustable mike, which extends to almost mouth level.

The M130 works with cordless phones, telecoil-equipped hearing aids, and cell phones. However, it lacks an integrated answer/end button. If you're looking for in-line volume control, you'll have to step up to the M135.

Nice sound
One area where the M130 really shines is in audio. Plantronics uses a noise-canceling microphone to achieve better sound quality. Callers came through loud and clear, and they had no trouble hearing us. Hide Review

"Ear cushion comes off, not loud enough" By

Pros: Great for driving or any time you want a handsfree expreience. Looks are better than average.

Cons: The ear cushion comes off far too easily. I lost 2 in the first week I owned it. Plantronics sent me 5 more for free. I wish the volume could be louder, though that may be more related to the phone more than the headset. I found it difficult to use wi
