"Outgoing audio: good. Incoming audio: No good."2.0 starson by supermandru
Pros: Noise cancelation, battery life, and comfort are fantastic.
Cons: Incoming audio is typical of plantronics headsets. The audio on the receiving end is ridden with static, and cuts out constantly. The headset has extremely limited range.
Summary: This headset reminded me why I gave up Plantronics 3 years ago. The noise cancelation, and audio the Legend picks up is top notch. Extremely clear, and more than satisfactory.
The audio the user hears is horrible. For some reason it seems that when Plantronics started introducing A2DP profiles into their headsets is when receiver audio became an issue. My wife's Marque 2, Marque 1, my M1100, Legend, and Voyager Pro all suffer from the same issue. You put the phone in your pocket and you get static. You get more than 5 feet from the phone, and you get static. Heck, you put the phone on the opposite side of your head in relation to the headset, and you get static. However, you play an Mp3...its completely fine. It is only during calls that incoming audio is an issue.
I really wanted to like this headset, but I could not stand listening to callers on it. I used this headset for two week, on literally 10 different phones and had the same issues with each phone. I am sorely disappointed. I have used 15 bluetooths over the last 5 years or so and so far the Jawbone ERA has outperformed them all in overall quality, and features. I would not recommend this headset.
