Pros These sound great and the adjustable earpiece is perfect so that when on the treadmill the buds don't fall out of place.
Cons I'm on my 2nd pair, need to return for a 3rd. The volume rocker and the pause/ advance song buttons stopped working again! Probably due to sweating on them, but that should be been considered in design.
Summary When all the features are working, these are great. If the volume/ pause buttons always worked, these are ideal for running. One can quickly adjust the volume and advance the song with the music player safely tucked away. Just don't sweat on the buttons.
Pros Amazing fit, the sound is by far the best, possibly even better than my Beats Solos, which I thought were amazing. Haven't used them while working out yet, since I just got these no more than an hour ago, but I plan on going to play basketball today.
Cons No cons at all. Maybe adding the tangle-free cord would help a fair amount.
Summary Overall, I recommend this highly. For the people who are complaining about sweat getting into the control panel; I don't know if you've seen the LeBron James commercial (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n6kyn-7MSFk, where he cops these headphones, but he wears them on the OUTSIDE of his shirt. It comes with a clip in the same bag as the interchangeable ear-tips, so it stays on your shirt better. Use your head, people. Monster is a US based company, and as far as I know, have no intention on moving customer support stations to Canada. Your "Cons" section is just a lack of common sense on your part, not the designers.
Pros xcellent sound, excellent bass, clarity, highs, sound is best I've heard from any headphones including bose. The only way 2 get better is 2 get Over ear hedphones,
These stay in my PERFECTLY, the wire pushes teh sound in2 my earballs and I like it.
Cons kinda expensive but you get what you paid for, cord kinda tangles and sometimes teh bass spanks my earballs too hard, but it hurts good.
Summary If you're running these are perfect - minus the cost but if you have the money do it.
Pros Great sound!!
Cons Quality control and design are an issue if you're active. Rubber buds fall off far too easily. I've had 2 pairs and on both the mic and volume control has stopped working.
Summary Great sound if your just using as headphones but if you buy them for the gym like I did, find something different. The headphones than came with my iPhone 5 fit more comfortably and no mice issues. I can't justify the cost on these headphones just for the sound. To plastic used for microphone is cheap. The cords aren't tangle free and in other earbuds and have had mic and volume issues with 2 pairs within 2 months of owning them. Not sweat resistant.
Pros They look good and have sound decent with most music.
Cons Within a month the "control talk" buttons ceased to work and the left speaker began to sound crackly. Buttons also sent false signals to my Iphone, activating control talk at random and auto pausing my music mid workout.
Summary I use these headphones exclusively for the gym everyday, and am not a heavy sweater (even when doing strenuous workouts). I did a little research before buying these and found a mixed bag of good but mostly bad reviews (but ended up going against my better judgment and getting them anyway). I owned them for about a month when suddenly the "control talk" buttons on the cable ceased to work. Being the stubborn person i am i decided to just continue using them anyway, and unfortunately the problems only got worse. A week or so later the headphone started prompting my iphone to activate the voice control option at random, thus cutting out my music in mid workout. Then the left speaker began to crackle off and on, however that particular issue has seemed to stop as of recent. Point is, sure every one raves that beats are the way to go and their top of the line over ear headphone im sure is brilliant, but these are very unbecoming of a brand that wants to compete in the upper echelons of athletic headsets.I can't help but think that these would be much better if they ditched the controls on the cable to make it more durable against moisture (besides who needs to talk on the phone during a workout anyway) Rather than getting a replacement i have the Bowers & Wilkins C5 on order, hopefully those will do much better.
