  • "Great Sound! once you find a pair that work"
    3.5 stars
    on by Thewoonkie

Pros: Sound Quality (when you find the right pair), Fit, Comfortable, don't fall out, style,

Cons: Cable is a little thin, no right angle mini plug like the beats studio, it took me 2 returns before I found a set that worked, Needs more ear tips, sample pack from monster should have come with it, I have an android phone for listening to music

Summary: Ok so the first pair I bought had a broken microphone but sounded great, I returned them, the next pair had 1 speaker only producing certain sounds so it sounded like all the audio was coming from the right speaker. 3rd pair don't sound as good as the 1st pair but I am not returning them again. after reading reviews on certain sites I would say that monster is having some quality control issues, I don't care though they are a great customer service department and will fix them if anything goes wrong even past the warranty period.

Buy the sample ear tip pack from monster if you think these things don't thump for the style of ear buds they are then you need to change the tips. I have the beats studios, monster turbines, bose qc 15's and these sound just as good as the studios, or the turbines.

Don't use these headphones or any others for that matter on an Android device they sound like garbage. You need an Ipod, or Iphone with the EQ to really push these over the edge. Just like the Beats studio they don't give you that 3d sound that you would get from the Bose QC15's but you don't get the distortion the bose gives you so its a trade off. Remember you are buying higher end headphones stop listening to mp3, and start using your EQ to get the most out of these headphones

my suggestion: buy the CD rip it using a loseless format, manage your eq in itunes, use it with ipod or iphone, buy the monster sample tip pack, and you will be most happy with these headphones they sound great
