Samsung WEP200 (Black)

Pros: It is the smallest/lightest headset that I have seen so far. There are some nice features (that work with my phone) like answering a 2nd incomming call and ignoring a call without touching your phone.

Cons: It can be get uncomfortable after a few hours. The redial feature is a neelessly long procedure.

Summary: For the 12+ hours that I have been using this, I have not had any problems with it so far. The user's manual gives some instructions as to how you should position the earpiece for it to fit properly. However, I had to play around with it to find the position that made it fit more securely. The included ear hook was pointless in my opinion. The ear hook actually just floated just above my ear (rather than resting on my ear) with the earpiece in.

I am using this headset with a Samsung A900. Even though the headset and phone are made by the same company (some people have asked me this), there was not really any improvement in the sound quality in comparison with my previous headset (Plantronics Explorer 320). The headset still needs to be in close proximity with the phone though (the user's manual states that it should be near the phone when in use anyways).

Something to keep in mind when purchasing this headset is that the user's manual states that the features on the headset are only available for phones that are compatible with those features. Fortunately for me, all the features of which the headset is capable are functional with my phone. The only feature that I will not be using will be the redial feature since it is a needlessly long procedure just to simply redial.

I have yet to use the headset in a noisy environment like a restaurant or something. I did use the headset in my car on the freeway. There is usually a lot of outside noise in my car and I did not have any difficulties hearing nor did the person on the other line have difficulties hearing me.

I had no difficulties charging my headset inside the travel/charging case. However, the contacts that are used for charging the headset are exposed and I can imagine them wearing out or something that will eventually make it difficult to charge.

I hope this helps anyone out there who is debating whether or not to get this headset. The first few user opinions weren’t so great. My experience so far has been good. I will repost if something happens with the headset that diminishes my opinion of it. It is also a good idea to purchase Bluetooth headsets at a place where you can return or exchange the item. No headset is perfect for every phone or user.
