Pros Cheap (got it free after a mail in rebate)
Cons Does not support streaming audio from a connected device to the headset. Nothing on the box indicates this limitation.
Bluetooth pairing takes several tries to get right.
Summary I broke my last headset and needed a replacement. Saw an offer from Frys for a free headset after rebate. Took it, only to find out after opening the box that the headset only supports audio related to calls and NOTHING else. It does not support any bluetooth profiles needed for streaming audio from my phone's media player to the headset. It is almost worthless without that capability. I got what I paid for.
Pros Low Price, and acceptable Quality. not to Play Football Maybe, but do it's Job. good if you Want to drive and Talk. (not With Open Windows)
Cons a Little Plastic Feeling. and little Low Sound Quality.
Summary You Will pay for what you Get, it's a cheep Headset, but makes it's Job, well. i recommend it if you don't have to use it all day. Just like Me. when driving, or Washing Hands. Works well.
it's a Fair deal.
Pros Easy to pair with phone. Battery seems to last (but hard to tell, see CONS)...it was given to me as a free accessory when I upgraded my cellphone to a Samsung (Sprint) Transform phone.
Cons Cheap feel. It was given to me as a free accessory when I upgraded my cellphone to a Samsung (Sprint) Transform phone.
Summary The headset paired easily with the Samsung "Transform" phone. After that, it became apparent this thing isn't ready to use with the Transform. When you press the button on the headset to initiate a call, you expect to hear "Say a Command" or some such thing. Instead of that, it immediiatly redials the last number you called. Again and again and again. No matter how short or long I pressed the button all it ever did was redial. So, being a techie, the first thing I did was to delete and repair it (several times) with the phone - and got the same problem. Absolutely frustrating! I searched the 'net and found that other users have had this problem (no solution found). I called Samsung a few minutes ago for support. The support I got was "delete the pairing on the phone and pair it again". I told them I had already done that several times. The next step, of course, was the standard step, reset the phone. I declined to do THAT as it took me a long time to get this android phone the way I can use it. So I'm just going to throw this out and get a DECENT headset (Plantronics, Jabra) and forget aobut this "free" accessory. Oh yes, my wife got the same phone and headset and it does the SAME thing. I've never had a problem with any SAMSUNG product (and we own quite a few of them) except for THIS thing. I can see why they were giving them away. It might be a good "first headset" for a kid, but if you are serious about a bluetooth headset, AVOID this one. You get what you pay for.
Pros Price is right, great battery life, good range, easy to use
Cons fair sound quality, comfort could be better
Summary A great entry level headset if you dont need to use it fulltime. Dont expect the best sound for the price but decent enough to use. The battery life was greater than expected. I wasnt disappointed considering what i paid for it.
Pros I haven't been able to use it long enough to recognize any of the pros.
Cons There is a constant high-pitched hum. Battery is charged, but less than a minute into each call it goes dead. I then have to finish the call while holding the phone -- no need for a bluetooth if I have to hold the phone.
