    "The best I've used"

    by DeepPurple23 on February 25, 2008

Pros: Sound quality on both ends, light, carrying case, car charger, good battery life

Cons: A little pricing and it didn't get me any "lovin'" from my wife.

Summary: I've been on a search for a bluetooth headset that would replace a wired Jabra that I had, eight years ago. I have finally found it, the VMX100B is fantastic. At $100 it is a little pricy, but most of the good ones are. At least it is not $350 like the B&O. The speaker is not a bud type so nothing is hurting your ear canel on extended calls. The sound quality on your end is outstanding and the speaker can get too loud if turned up all the way, this is key because it is not always quite in the car. As respects speaking, this is also outstanding, most people that I speak to don't realize that I am even on a mobile phone, forget about being on a bluetooth headset. I talked to my Dad last night for an hour and he didn't even know that I was on the headset, he thought I was on the landline, in addition he said that this is the best headset that I've ever owned and he is hard of hearing so that speaks volumes. I have owned Sony Ericcsons, Treos, Motorolas, Jabra JX10, Plantronics, and Gennum. I was leary of the "two mics" because of my experience with the Gennum. Here it actually works. Typically, when I'm on the phone the cats are in my feet meowing and everyone always comments that they can hear the cats. Not anymore, no cats and no radio in the background only my voice.

If you're looking for a bluetooth headset, this one is worth the try. I went for the Black version as it had a car charger and carrying case. I must say, the carrying case is fantastic, not some stupid little bag, but a small hard plastic case that protects the headset.
