Manufacturer description

The useful Info display with the Akono Headset HBH-662 keeps you informed on incoming calls: who is calling, the caller's number and, when you hang up it tells you how much time you spent on the phone. Talk and standby time of up to 5/150 hours make sure that you never have to be out of reach, although you can also check the headset's battery status on the display, so you'll never run out of power when you least expect it.

Comfortable and Very Effective

Pros: Caller ID, Range and Battery Indicator

Cons: I wish it had a bit more talk time

Review: This headset is wonderful. The range is great enough that I can keep my phone on the charger and walk my house or office and have no problems. Totally clear and I only begin to hear the smallest amount of noise when I get to around 30 feet or so, sometimes farther if I am in an open room or outside. The caller ID and the battery indicator are priceless. No more wondering how much more battery life you have or digging in your pocket or running to the phone before you answer it. This headset rocks and my only complaint is none of the stores have it yet at the least the ones I looked at, I had to buy it online and wait.

Caller ID - Neato!

Pros: caller ID, compact, left or right side, good sound

Cons: caller ID did not work with my motorola, uncomfortable after 1/2 hr

Review: This is my second bluetooth earpiece - got this one because of the caller ID. I paired it with my Sony Ericsson T610 no problems. When people call, either the number scrolls across (screen is too small for a 10 digit #) or the corresponding name appears. Pretty nifty. Also uses the same charger as my phone. Fits okay on the ear, but gets uncomfortable after a little while.
My problem was when I paired it with the Motorola A780 - numbers and names no longer appeared on the screen, which was irritating. Anyway, sound is okay, it drops off the connection every once in a while, but not sure if that is a phone or earpiece problem. Overall good if you have a sony ericsson phone and want caller ID. Would be nice if the screen was big enough for the entire #, and if you could scroll through numbers on the earpiece.

Great Bluetooth Headset

Pros: Excellent sound quality

Cons: Poor battery life 4 hours tops

Review: I have used alot of bluetooth headsets and this one has the best sound quality. The only complaint is the battery life. The caller ID must tax the battery so after 4 hours its in need of a recharge.

nifty hands-free set w/ caller-id!

Pros: caller ID display, battery meter

Cons: over-the-ear design tough one-handed, but secure

Review: This is the only bluetooth headset I found to have an external CALLER-ID display. Very good clarity, but this over-the-ear design is tough to put on one handed.

Also, the battery life is about 2 days under light use and standby. But, recharges quickly.
