Pros -Only $50 at Game stop such a great deal!!!
-Comfortable for extended use
-great sound quality
-mic picks up sound greatly
Cons feels hefty though this may be due to only using small headsets upto this poing
Summary I would definitely recommend this to anyone.
Pros Great audio sounds, design and price. And doesn't give you headache like my turtle beach-____-!
Cons No Usb charging cable for the headset so you have to buy one if you don't have one for 10$. You can't hear what your saying in the mic.
Summary I got mine for Au.$150. And for US.around $100.
Pros 1. Sound quality is satisfying.
3. Easy to set up and use.
4. Reasonably priced.
Cons 1. Wireless interference. My wireless router did not play nicely with the headset. The router is near my PS3. My internet connection kept going in and out. I had to run an ethernet cable.
2. The virtual 7.1 surround sound is nothing special.
Summary Not a perfect product, but it does a lot right. Being able to have good wireless audio with an easy setup should not be underestimated. This is an accessory I will use with most of my gaming sessions. There are few game accessories I can say that for. Well worth the money.
Pros Great price.
Sound quality is great, and you could hear the enemies location precisely when playing Black Ops.
Cons Battery life could have been better.
No charging usb cable.
Summary For a 100 bucks, you are getting quality headset. most of the cheap, hang off one ear, lousy sounding earpiece cost about an average of 40 to 50 bucks. So why not drop a few more $$$ and get something worth your money....
Pros Great sounding and easy to set up.
Cons Will interfere with the controller if the USB port adjacent to the one used by the dongle is being used to charge another device. Also, could use one more head size adjustment on the smaller end.
Summary With this being my first headset of any kind (wired or unwired), I must say that the sound is excellent. Background voices within the game (e.g., approaching enemies in Uncharted 2, various people in the saloon in Read Dead Redemption) are so clear, which really draws you into the game experience. The interference issue noted above as a "con" was very frustrating and interfered significantly with game play - my "guy" just wasn't doing what I wanted him to. It's an under-reported issue, with little help available on Sony's site or elsewhere. After a little research (message boards), it was apparent that I had to unplug the back-up remote that I have charging via the USB port adjacent to the headset dongle. The problem went away immediately. Hard to believe this issue would not have been discovered in testing, but it happens. Overall, a good product for the price.
