The good: The Technocel T10 Bluetooth headset has a comfortable fit, and the buttons are easy to press. It's also very affordable.
The bad: The Technocel T10 has poor call quality, the ear hook is on the thick side, and the overall headset is a little bulky.
The bottom line: The Technocel T10 is certainly a very affordable Bluetooth headset, but we think its poor sound quality should have you looking elsewhere.

Technocel is something like a jack of all trades in the cell phone business, with a hand in all kinds of cell phone accessories from batteries and cases to Bluetooth headsets. And though it partners with other manufacturers as a distributor, it also makes a few of its own headsets, like the Technocel T10. The T10 is not an advanced headset by any means, and we were less than pleased with the call quality. However, it's one of the most affordable headsets out there, at around $20.
The T10 is pretty dull design-wise. It's quite bulky, as far as modern headsets go, measuring 1 inch wide by 2 inches long by 0.4 inch thick, and looks like a miniature shield: wide at the top and narrow at the bottom. Right on the front is a square, chrome multifunction button, followed by an LED light underneath. The button is large enough to press easily, and the LED light flashes blue when the headset is activated. The volume rocker is on the right spine, and the charger jack is on top.
Flip the headset over and you'll find a simple earpiece encased in a rubber ear cushion. It fits pretty comfortably in the ear, though we did wish the T10 came with other earbud sizes. There's also a flexible ear hook that can be rotated to fit either ear. The ear hook is not optional; you need it to wear the T10 securely. The ear hook is on the thick side, so you probably won't be able to wear glasses comfortably with the ear hook in place.
We tested the Technocel T10 with the Apple iPhone 3G and the pairing process went very smoothly. The T10 goes automatically into pairing mode the first time it's powered on. Though we could carry on conversations quite well, we were ultimately disappointed with the call quality on the T10. Even though we were in a quiet office room, our callers could barely hear us, and we had to raise our voice. They also reported a bit of static in the background, and said we sounded like we were in a tunnel. We left ourselves a few voicemail messages, and we have to agree with their statements. In sum, the call quality of the T10 is not very good at all.
Features of the Technocel T10 include answering and rejecting calls, voice dialing support, last number redial, call mute, and the ability to transfer calls from the headset to the phone and vice versa. It has a rated talk time of 7 hours and a rated standby time of 5 days.
