Not only can you use the T6000 for the typical answering and rejecting calls, but you can also access Menu Mode on the speakerphone for adjusting the speakerphone's ringtone (the T6000 comes with 3 different ringtone options), access the phone book, and assign a number to the 1-Touch key. You access the Menu Mode by pressing the jog dial when a phone isn't connected to the T6000 (yes, you must disconnect any paired phone before you can access Menu Mode). As for the phone book, either you can enter in names and numbers manually, or you can import your address book over if your phone supports Object Push Profile.
We paired the T6000 with the Apple iPhone 3G as well as the LG Lotus. Call quality was all right, but nothing spectacular. Callers could hear us just fine, and they said our voices sounded natural without a lot of static. However, they did say volume was on the low side, and we would sometimes cut in and out of the conversation. We tested this with voice mail and found that it's true, the volume level seemed low and we sometimes couldn't hear ourselves.
Features of the T6000 include last number redial, voice dial support, call waiting support, and the capability to transfer calls between handset and speakerphone. The Technocel T6000 has a rated talk time of 8 hours and a rated standby time of 8.3 days.
