This headset isn't at all what I had expected after reading the reviews for it on several sites. The price seemed reasonable for the reviews, so I went and bought them. Once I got them home, I discovered that while they do work with a 360, you need an adapter to use them if you use the HDMI output. After that, I tried it with my computer. The volume of the microphone is linked to the volume wheel on the headset which resulted in several requests to turn it down. When the volume was comfortable for those I was speaking to, I could no longer hear them. The sound quality, while okay, is not what I was expecting. I've had cheaper headsets with better sound than these. The bass boost function works well, but most of the space on the wheel seems to do little to nothing.
I would not recommend this product to a friend based on the above reasons. Were this in the $30 range, they would be well worth the price.
