"Could have been a real nice product"
Pros: Excellent sound, comfortable
Cons: Sound cuts out
Summary: Well, this seemed like a great idea, and they almost pulled it off. If not for a few very important issues.
For one, have you ever tried talking on a microphone when you can't hear yourself speak? Let me tell you, it is difficult and distracting.
Second, I don't know if it was an issue with my headset, but when I fired a weapon or there was an explosion, the sound would drop out. This happened even when the volume was very low and even though the selector switch was set to the recommended low setting. If you read the knowledge base on their website, you will notice that I'm not the only one with this issue. They recommend fixing the alignment of the Infra Red transmitter. I stood right in front of it and it still cut out. Seems like the bandwith of the Infra signal is not enough to carry complex explosions?
Obviously, I took these straight back.
