Pros: Comfortable, looks nice, returnable for full refund

Cons: Uses AAA batteries, static when two or more people are talking, playing with volume more then playing the game, takes up to 5 mins to get sound to headset, PRICE, and a few more

Summary: At first I thought the x41's was an amazing product, that's until I used them for more then a few hours. The headset is powered by AAA batteries which are included, but they are the cheap kind and will run out fast, and AAA's are not something people keep around the house. The transmitter feels very cheap plastic. When you the sound is coming through the headset you can hear a constant popping sound when scrolling through menus, they claim you can hear footsteps, this is not true, I couldn't hear footsteps, the sounds of explosions over-took the footsteps. Not only that I was finding myself playing with the volume more then the game, and the controls are oddly placed. While in voice chat, you have to limit your XBL party to two people, if more join you are hearing more and more static, and the voices don't get louder when the game is going crazy. It can take up to 5 minutes to get the game sound from your TV to your headset so this means you are turning off and on the transmitter as well as playing with the sound setting on your XBOX. For the $230 CND price tag, I never expected the cheap plastic feel that came with this product. I may have gotten a faulty x41, but there is no way I will give it a second chance for the price I paid, and since my XBOX is connected to HDMI I had to spend an additional $70 to get the audio-adapter.

Turtle Beach I expected more. Not impressed!
