Cons: This wireless device still requires a wire to enable xbox live chat. Requires AAA batteries that need to be replaced routinely (buy rechargeable batteries!!!) Power cord plugs directly into the xbox unit and not into an electrical outlet.

Summary: I feel as thought the x41 headset is an excellent buy. It is rather expensive, but it's worth the money. You can adjust the game volume as well as the xbox live chat separately and the sound quality is very good as long as the headset receiver is installed away from other electronic devices. The headset ear pieces are very comfortable and you can also use them for watching TV and movies. I read several reviews regarding this headset and have encountered some of the negative aspects of the device like other consumers. However, I have found that a majority of these problems can be fixed. I have not had any problems since buying a longer digital audio cable and installing the headset receiver farther away from my entertainment center. Trust me you will notice a difference.
