Supersleek
With its sleek metal parts and black hook, the headset looks a little like something that you might see a doctor wearing while making rounds. Style aside, the earpiece is highly adjustable, so comfort isn't an issue, and it's also easy enough to slip on. The only thing we didn't like was that the mike, which is a tad heavy, tugs a little on the earpiece. In extended conversations, this might become bothersome to some users.
As noted, instead of a wire, there's a sound-delivery tube that may reduce electromagnetic radiation between the mike and earpiece. We don't know how the tube will endure over time, but it does appear to be fairly sturdy. The unit also incorporates a tangle-free cord. (Note: Within the next six months, the company is planning to introduce a unit that has a smaller mike and includes an integrated answer/end button.)
Decent sonics
We're happy to report that we have no complaints in the sonics department. Callers sounded loud and clear, and they said they didn't have any trouble hearing us so long as the wind wasn't blowing too hard. In those instances, we sounded as if we were in a tunnel. Continue reading
