on by DST75052Pros Superior non amped sound. Really comfortable, I have worn them for more than 4hrs at a time with no discomfort. The build quality is strong and meant to take a beating, and when stored in the supplied armor case they should last for years.
Cons NONE.(besides people who are reviewing it wrong and not plugging the cable all the way in- see summary for more details) I guess it would be cool if they had an xbox live ready cable, if there isnt already one out there
Summary A few reviews on CNET, YouTube, and a few other sites mention this "club sound" or something along the lines a spacy echo sound, and thus recommend for club music only and say the sound is not well balanced. This sound issue they are referring to happens when you do not plug the cable into the headphones all the way. This happened to me at first.
I have had them for more than a month now and there is nothing I can find wrong with them. I listen to everything from hardcore double bassing rock, to rich classical movie scores and these headphones preform extremely well across the board. Bass is strong and life like, and not overpowering. BETTER than BEATS by a long shot! and far more durable. I bought mine through Costco which had them for $60, but even at the avg cost of $120 they are on par or better than alot of $400 over the ear headphones out there(that I have tested)
I only buy quality items that can take a beating, and these fit the bill. You wont be disapointed -

Summary Other review says v-moda doesn't have well balanced sound and overempowering bass, but it might be because of 2 reasons, one is because they did not plug it the right way or 2 is because they haven't BURNED IN the speakers which means using it for 24 hours with middle volume and after that the speakers adjusts and the sound becomes much better. So remember to burn in your speakers before you judge this headphones because after burning in this headphones will be one of the best headphones out there.

on by macike75Pros Price could find for about 125online .quality seem durable carrying case great too.now for the sound no noise isolation but blocks alot of outside noise .heavy bass mids n highs decent.
Cons Need power on cell phones.ipod classic bumps them,but cell phones come up short of their otential ..
Summary Great for price if you add a $20 fiio e5 amp they kill beats studio should consider these if buying beats studio and way better than solos .
