"excellent bass, and stylish exterior" on by Hayden121995
Pros: 1) BASS
2) STYLE
3) DURABILITY
4) SEX APPEAL;)Cons: These are VERY warm sounding headphones, and that leads to songs having a little less clarity to them, and it can get a little tedious. The only other con is that not every person who buys these headphones will have enough Swagg to back them up;)
Summary: Nobody really goes into detail about just HOW heavily bass- driven that these headphones are. They make hip-hop, Dubstep. Hardstyle, anything with bass really- just sound INCREDIBLE!
but music that doesn't need the bass emphasized, WILL sound a little out-of-focus. All in all, it still sounds great. A little tinkering with EQ settings have a HUGE difference in the clarity as well, so use them to your advantage!!
side-note: I'm pretty sure that these headphones are directly related to my acquiring of my super hot girlfriend...... just saying. -
"Quality . . . period." on by truecall
Pros: 1. Solid design
2. Comfortable
3. Light weight
3. Good sound range
4. Nice lookingCons: I am a DJ. Sometimes I like to hold one "ear cup" to an ear while cueing up music. The head phone cups only folds up to about 75 degrees. I like the 180 degree design better. But not everyone needs this feature and it is just as easy to slide an ear c
Summary: Well worth the money. You will re-discover your music as these headsets better range than most (5 Hz - 30 kHz)
Once you place these bad-boys on, you will instantly be able to determine that it's price is based on material and quality.
These are not the best head phones out there, but for the price they are pretty close! -
"Audiophiles! Your Search Is Over!" on by Mihuca94
Pros: Very Stylish, Comfortable, Great Bass, Great Treble, Very Durable.
Cons: A bit pricey but well worth the cash!
Summary: I just got these for Christmas and i must admit i was completely blown away by every single aspect of them. They look amazing, sound amazing, and feel amazing. They are very durable and will probably last you a LONG time unless you are actually looking to break them. I usually go for R&B/Soul, Hip-Hop and Rap which all sound amazing due to the great bass these phones have to offer.

"Great for me!!!" on by hgutierrez@sjmhs.org
Pros: As a high school multimedia instructor, I listen to a lot of genres of music, from classical to rap, and these headphones are really great on the ears, and on the ears. They are very comfortable!
Cons: The price, could be a little less expensive. Their bulk is sometimes a problem.
Summary: I love them. Work well for my taste and I love to hear the clarity of the sound.

"I couldn't disagree more with CNETs evaluation more." on by Mbracco
Pros: Fit finish, styling
Build quality
Clean transparent, tight bass
really balanced sound
sound good without amplification
extreme comfortCons: Styling is polarizing
Summary: The Crossfade is a great first foray into the over ear can game. The industrial design is not going to please everyone but is that ever possible? V-moda struck gold with the Vibe by understanding a niche that was unfilled in the market. The Crossfade is going to do the same.
The CNET reviewers assertion that the Creative Aurvana sounds better then the CF is completely ludicrous. Pay it no mind, the comment is ridiculous. The tight, clean, accurate bass is the strong point sonically for the headphone. I was concerned that they might come in boomy but when I got my pair I was pleasantly surprised. There are few people who have sampled more headphones then I have. As a hobbyist and having worked in the industry for the last 5 years I have heard them all. Crossfade strikes the perfect balance between accuracy and daily listenabilty w/ a variety of sources.
Does the Crossfade play as accurate and detailed as my Er-4s playing 24/96 Flac off my Peachtree? No, of course not, its not even intended to do that but its a rock solid daily wear pair of cans that provides really good audio and REALLY unique styling.
