Pros The box looks good and if they redid the whole program it could be great.
Cons The much needed drop down tools needed to excavate, staircase landings, floor cutting tools and more are totally missing. I manged to get around some of the missing tools but its almost impossible to design a basement without the missing tools.
Summary I bought this product and its pure garbage !Do buy it, I feel so cheated! Tried using this product on all 3 of my new computers and the tool are still missing on all and the guides & videos refer to them them I feel cheated. The Sims is a way better/easier to design a house. It freezes allot & sometime won't open if you place too many objects. I was so excited to get this software now I'm full of anger & mad at some of the tech review sites that recommended this unfinished software.

Pros So far nothing! Don't waste your time and money.
Cons I've only just started using it, but none of the drop down tool bars are available so I can't do one tenth of what's claimed by the manual. You can't even manually change a dimension or define the coordinates of a point.
Summary If it did what the manual says it does I'd be reasonably happy, but when most of the features don't work it's just plain useless. It took a few days but finally a response from the Punch Help desk has enabled me to access the drop down tool bars. Hopefully this this will improve my opinion so I'll reserve further judgement for now.

Pros customer service has been quick and helpful
Cons Overall a very bumpy program. From the annoying auto roof to the materials overlapping, grass on my floor to siding on my window, the program simply has not delivered.
Summary I think they should have spent a couple more months on r+d b4 releasing this software. This is a novelty program with no practical applications I've found yet, and should retail for about 29.99 marketed towards homeowners looking to play around with some ideas for DIY projects. Fun (if not aggravating) but I'm going to get some paper and sharpen my pencil now.

Pros I liked Broderbund from which it has its origins.
Cons Firstly I wanted to use this product by importing a dxf file prepared by my architect. I read several online doc which said that this could be done only to learn that was only in certain versions.
Summary I then tried to do a trace based on a jpg file. This kind of worked but the manual and app help was extremely poor.
I am an IT support professional and work with different applications every day and I have to say that this is amongst the worse software I have paid money for. chucking it in the bin.
