AMD was first out of the gate with a graphics card that supports Windows 7's new DirectX 11 3D graphics standard. With Nvidia's answer still likely a few months away, the holiday belongs to AMD as far as graphics cards. This high-end card will play any game on the market with excellent speed and smoothness at high resolution, and at a relatively reasonable $400. The benefits of its DirectX 11 support find their way to PC games gradually, but we're perhaps more excited by this card's multimonitor support. This version will support up to three. A forthcoming higher-end model will handle up to six.
