For less money you can get a Corvette Z-06 and, for the same money as a Cayman, a Z-06 Carbon. Both, like all Corvettes, are amazing cars for the money - but without the "Porsche cachet".
Z-06...nice car, looks and sounds great - goes in a straight line really well...doesn't handle worth squat.

The C6 Z06 smokes every Porsche that has ever hit that track with the exception of the GT2 RS(which costs $250,000=/-... just saying.
and point #2 to the twit quoting ring times. Most americans haven't heard of the ring and you likely couldnt point out where its located on a map without googling it. Ring times are the new HP/L and are just as meaningless.
