  • "AWESOME PRODUCT!!!!!!!"
    on by X1Zero

Pros - Small - Neat - Shorter cables (than original headphones) - Acts as a remote AND radio remote

Cons - Price - No AM band

Summary I bought this thinking cool, its a radio, lets try it and then 1 day I clicked it wrongly and it changed my music for me!!!! I was thrilled! So not having an AM band isnt that bad anymore! Trust me, this is one great product. You will LOVE not having to pull out your ipod anymore to change songs. just clip it to your jacket and you're good to go!

  • "incompatibilty with earlier models"
    on by bgracie

    Pros looks well designet

    Cons incompatibility

Summary though this looks like a typical well designed apple product, it's really a shame it's not compatible with older ipod models. apple wants people to just keep buying new models, and not support the older ones with accessories like this radio adapter and cases (no cases for the 20g colour in the apple store.)

  • "Great reception and easy to tune to stations"
    on by netbob57

Pros Allows you to pack your iPod away and control from the remote.

Cons You cannot set stations with the remote and the cord clutter is a bit much

Summary All in all, since I've been wanting FM radio functionality since day one, I can live with the shortcomings. My original Nokia phone had an FM radio built in so I'd love a built in FM radio tuner on an iPod. The connector on first plug in did not go all the way into the docking connector so the reception wasn't that good and the volume was low. Once I even plugged into the iPod itself to see if the radio played and it did. Pushing the connector harder into the docking connector made the sound nice and loud and the reception is great. A couple of stations don't come in that well but they are the low wattage or they are too far away.
The head phones did NOT come with ear bud covers so they slip out of my ears. I will need to find some to fix that.

  • "should of been in the ipod all along"
    on by primo75

Pros tells you song names from some stations. fairly good reception

    Cons none really

Summary I have a huge ipod song library but still wish to listen to radio, like talk radio or catch a game on my local station ipod should have a radio to begin with but then wouldnt be able to sell you this. its really a good product some songs names come across your screen i really like that if its a new song and i dont know who it is. picks up all my local stations really good. another cool thing if you have someone near you they can plug to your ipod and you can plug into this like a splitter cause this uses the port on the bottom

  • "Nice Product, Great Design Too much cord"
    on by oceanmonster14

    Pros Works, Good Reception

    Cons too much cord

Summary This is a nice product it works well but the cord length is extremely long. It is very annoying. Hopefully the next generation iPod has this technology built in
