  • "A Great Product"
    on by shawnb16

Pros Simple to use, very good sound

    Cons none so far

Summary I've tried most of the transmitters out there usually being very disappointed and returning the product the following day. As a last resort I tried the Dlo transpod (second generation) plugged in my new Ipod video and was amazed. It sounded great on the first channel I tried 88.5 and stayed nearly perfect for an hour ride along the shore. During normal driving you can not hear a bit of static or distortion. I am so happy with this product.

  • "Excellent Sound, better than most transmitters, but flimsy and a nuisance."
    on by bittercoldness18

Pros Transmits to your car stereo extremely well, with a great sound, and is easily adjustable. It looks sweet too.

Cons The plug/adapter doesn't fit quite well, and is a bit flimsy. Afraid it will topple when I make sharp turns, thus destroying my Ipod.

Summary Waiting to hear from DLO, on what I can do to fix the adapter problem. They are not easily accessible with their tech support. Otherwise product is overall impressive and definetly better than anything else on the market.

  • "Best FM Transmitter so far"
    on by maverick2779

Pros No Static, charges your ipod

    Cons A bit bulky, expensive

Summary I love this transmitter! I own a Mazda 6, interior is silver and black. I got the silver charger and own the black video ipod. The charger matches perfectly with my car's interior. I had to play with the arm a bit in order to find just the right position so as to not interfere with the gear shift but once I found it I never had to unplug the transmitter. Just pop my ipod in and out of my car. I live in NYC and keep it set to 88.5, I hear no static at all. I used to have a Belkin which was very dissapointing. This transmitter works great, I highly recommend it.

  • "I hope there is a better FM/trans for Nano B/c this sleeve is to big."
    on by njezrider

Pros The Pros are, It works but you still hear hissing.

Cons The Cons are that I bought it for my girlfriend to use in with her Nano and the sleeve it comes with is too big for the Nano to link up with the DLo connection.

Summary I hope there is a new FM Transmitter but I have already spent good money on a device that was supposed to work with the Nano and does not. Did any " Editors " look to see if this product worked with ALL sleeves included Before they rated this? Because the ONLY reason I bought it was there was a Cnet logo on it and it said EDITORS CHOICE. Maybe the Editors should have checked this first or not picked any of the products as EDITORS CHOICE if there were none that was up to par. Good thing I fixed my problem with a Dremel and some high tack foam tape. It looks great. I always check this site first for all my reviews and online classes but this review just does not settle with me.

  • "Couldn't get it to work with nano."
    on by jdc09

Pros Liked the way it sets up in the car & recharges.

Cons Could not get it to transmit nano.

Summary The package says "nano ready" but the two I tried were not. I have called DLO and the retailer and e-mailed DLO for the last four days but have not gotten a response. If you get yours to work with a nano please post how you did it.
