Pros Great sound quality; great volume; flexible installation options; excellent battery life; can be used with non-BT phones (with adapter - not included)
Cons May be a little pricey
Summary Sound quality is the best of any speakerphone that I have ever used, including motorola. I can clearly hear the other person (better than my Jabra BT headset) and those I talk to say they cant even tell they are on speakerphone, hearing me equally as well.
Volume control is easy to get to (its right on the side). You may have some difficulty if you mount it on the windshield but I have my attached to my sun visor. All you do is reach up and turn the dial.
Battery life is excellent for this device. I use it 3-5 days a week on my to and from work (as well as leisurely driving) and may have to recharge once or twice every week or 2 weeks depending on actual use.
Comes with 2 ways to install: a clip for the sun visor and suction-cup for the windshield. I use the visor since its easier to get to the controls, though I have used it on the windshield to test for sound quality and havne had any complaints, though some have reported that I sound distant when its mounted on the windshield. When I use it on my visor, again, they tell me they cant tell that they are on speakerphone.
I cant comment on voice activated dialing since my phone doesnt support it. I use the Jabra BT adapter with my LG8000. Maintaining sight between the devices is the biggest problem but when I do sound quality is better than I expected.
I got this at Brookstone for $99...sometimes I feel as though that price is $25 too high but I dont feel as though I paid too much.
Overall I am very pleased with this purchase. Jabra makes some very good products and this one is a demonstration of that quality.
Pros Great Battery life
Cons Cannot hear well at any speed
Summary I wouldn't buy this product if I had to do it over again because speaker volume is not loud enough to hear the person that you're talking to unless you are parked. It's an audio device - DUH. I mail ordered it sight unseen because I trusted the JABRA name. Then came the charger cord disaster with my GPS car charging cord fitting the Jabra SP500. There was a sizzling sound and then came the smoke. THE END That forced me to do what I already needed to do - send it to the recycling center.
