Logitech Harmony Link

Pros: very limited app support; works great on an iPad.

Cons: Very cumbersome if wantmore than one. You can only manage one per account. Since your account is your email address, you need multiple email addresses
Also, very limited app support; waste of time on Android (won't work on tablets)

Summary: While the concept and technology are very good, Logitech came up a little short sighted when it came to conceptualizing how a consumer might want to use it. We were initially thrilled with the first one we bought, but when we went to expand to additional rooms (by purchasing additional units) the thrill rapidly faded.

You cannot treat "home entertainment" as an integrated system, manageable from a single interface. You must create a separate MyHarmony account online for each Link.

Unless you have a dedicated iPad for each of room, you have to log out and log in as you move about the house.

With regard to the app on the iPad, Logitech did a great job! However, it would be great if some time were to be spent on an app useable on Android tablets. Their Android app only runs on smartphones and is not very robust.
