"Nice unit... except the BLUE FLASHING LIGHT distraction."
Pros: Easy pairing with iPhone. Speaker is decently loud though slightly tinny sounding. Small size, & portable.
Cons: That BLUE FLASHING light. Don't say you weren't warned! Let's hope future releases will eliminate/address this!
Summary: This paired with my iPhone very easily, but the BIGGEST complaint (and a reason why I'm only rating a 7) is that the blue flashing light is very annoying, and cannot be turned off. (This signifies that the unit is paired.) During the day, you don't notice it at all. But when I commute home every night, it is a pretty annoying distraction. Why make it so big & flashing, Motorola? I had read this in other user reviews and thought - no biggie, right? But driving at night, while this is clipped to your visor, it's very prominent, to say the least. I've now tucked the unit between the visor and the header so the light is less distracting, though now the speaker is slightly muffled. I consider that the better trade off! (At least the microphone is still pointing towards me.)
Overall, easy to use (at least with iPhone) and handy size is good.
But I'll say it again - that BLUE FLASHING light. Don't say you weren't warned! Let's hope future releases will eliminate/address this! Good luck.
