"Review of the CNET review"1.5 starson by spamosonic
Pros: describes basic characteristics of the product
Cons: is not a review
Summary: I don't mean to be rude, but how can you call this a review? The only piece of information in this article which I could not get on my own (either by reading the product description or looking at a unit through plastic packaging in a store) is that it "feels slightly flimsy," which isn't even very descriptive. Without that bit of information, I would seriously question whether you even had a unit in your possession when writing the review. What about it felt flimsy? How do the buttons feel when you press them? How quickly does the iPod respond when you press a button? Is it instantaneous, as you'd expect, or is there a slight delay? How does it compare in response time to the Apple-made remote? I've read in a few other places that it drains the battery - was that your experience? How long did you use this thing before you reviewed it? 30 minutes? A day? A week? How much time did you spend fiddling with it during that test period? If it was on the longer side, how did it behave at the end of the test session? These are the sort of questions that make a review which answers them more than just a press release from the manufacturer. Your review did do that a little bit ("flimsy") but not nearly enough.
