"I bought this and had to return it immediately." on by frooglality
Pros: Works if you live in Batman;s lair.
Cons: It is hard to see the image with half the lights turned off.
Summary: I ultimately sent this back and got an AAXA P4 for less than what I paid for this. It is 80 lumens and I can see it even with the lights on. That's what a projector should be able to do. I got it for work which was bought by my company but the hassle of returning it was a waste of time. I should have gotten the P4 from the beginning.

"okay but there are better ones at a better price" on by mswanson4592
Pros: barely fair projections
Cons: price is higher and the quality is not as nice
Summary: I was considering this one when I was shopping for a mini projector but then I came across the P1Jr from AAXA. I am so pleased with the one I just bought from AAXA. It works great. http://www.aaxatech.com

"Better Pico for Business" on by RKMichael
Pros: I would go with the Ray Displays Ray for business applications. You get a no-frills projector that is perfect for presentations. www.raydisplays.com
Cons: high price for too many features that you will never use.
Summary: Go with a lower priced pico for business applications.

"Watching TV/Movies in bed on ceiling? Priceless!" on by PeteyBrian
Pros: Gorgeous design. Fits in shirt pocket. Nice feel - like soft rubber texture. Quiet fan. Tripod/leather pouch/different plugs/VGA cord included. So simple to use. In a dark room, picture good to watch TV/Movies. Has small, but serviceable speakers.
Cons: Can ONLY be used in DARK room-no exception. Can barely read text-blurry-no matter how much you focus. Must move device closer and away from screen (and a same level to keep rectangular screen) focus limited. Brightness only 10-12 lumens-needs more!
Summary: Using the pico projector with my netbook using Slingbox to watch TV on a 50 inch screen anywhere there's wifi is priceless, albeit limited to night/DARK room. Movies too. Up to say 50 or 60 inches is passable to most. Would I like 50 lumens? You betcha! But at a reduced price, I'll get this now and get a better one in a couple of years! It is a niche product for me bc can only be used in darkness, but I'm using mine a lot. Disappointed no cord for Iphone/Ipod/other smartphone - must purchase separately. DO NOT USE FOR DAYTIME BUSINESS USE! The technology isn't there yet and you will very likely be disappointed. Another disappointment was that I can't read text well - I was hoping to view my web surfing or Word docs on the screen. Overall I'm very glad I purchased my at a reduced price and use mine often.

"Fine for my needs" on by qwilink
Pros: Bright enough for use in sort of controlled lighting, works fine with my PC and mac
Cons: would be nice if it came with ipod cable
Summary: I tried several other pico projectors, this was the only one I could find bright enough for general use..you have to dim the lights a little, but you can see the picture..the optoma I tried was barely visible. The synch with everything I've tried also works, and I get about 3 hours of battery life. It's no substitute for a plug in projector, but that's not what it is.
