Pros Bright, Short Throw, Great PQ, Sharp Image, Great Remote, Useful speakers, USB
Cons USB can't do PP, only pics.
Summary Short throw projectors are great for presentations because it eliminates eye blinding from the projector bulb and also shadows from being caught in the projectors image throw. We measured about 80 inches of display at only 3 feet of projector to screen distance, that is absolutely stunning performance!
The onboard Ethernet port is extremely useful if you're considering buying this for a school or even a business, as you can connect it up to your LAN system just like us, have it sync very well and easily and control it from the IT division and monitor it and adjust settings and check its overall wellbeing.
We also really enjoyed the remote control on this device; it's designed to be much like a TV remote and is well sized. It also has a build in laser pointer which can be useful during internal meetings. The overall setup was easy as pie; literally you plug it in the wall and hook the computer to it and its ready. There is a USB feature, but unfortunately it's only limited to image files at the moment. PP doesn't work yet, you'll need a PC. The MX810ST is a quiet projector, we seldom hear it churning in the background while using. The onboard speakers are also very well built and can fill a small to medium size classroom/conference room easily. Picture quality is stunning and brilliant as it has higher contrast ratio than most entry level data projectors. Words and small details are very crisp and easily read.
