When I tested movies like Avatar, Star Wars, and the classic fifth element I was able to see the projector display some brilliant contrasts and imagery that is generally difficult to see on most entry level projectors. Also the perception of picture was stunning, as if the movies had come to life and was much livelier, definitely different from LCD projectors. The colors are spectacular; I am truly happy and surprised that the colors on this projector were better than my fairly new 52 inch Bravia LED backlit TV. Video quality was smooth and the projector wasn't noticeable during movies and even during silent frames. There are some additional features such as picture in picture and onboard speakers which are surprisingly good. The onboard speakers can be used if you are entering the projector industry with s slightly lower budget. And finally, the brightness on this projector is mind boggling, it's just a beast. The projector is probably the brightest in the entry level of Full HD 1080p projectors. Some LCDs may be brighter, but definitely at the cost of picture quality and crispness. This is definitely one of or the brightest and with that you will be able to fight off ambient light and also be able to throw your images at much longer ranges for those such as me who need a minimum of 14 feet of throw distance.
