Summary: This reviewer does not have a clue regarding projectors. This is a business projector. It has a 2x color wheel and low contrast comared to it's competetors. If you are looking to buy a projector check out www.projectorreviews.com or www.projectorcentral.com and not this half baked attempt by someone who obviously hasn't got a clue what other projectors are available.
At this price get an Optoma H27 at www.costco.com and get costco's life time return policy to go with it. -

Pros: Failry priced, very bright, Good colors & Compact size.
Cons: Noisy, lack of Component video input.
Summary: If you are looking for setting up your own Home theatre this is good projector to start with. I was impressed by the picture quality and i use it directly on my room wall no screen. Everyone who visits my home & watches a movie on this projector is impressed. Its price is very low & it comes with a lot of connecting video & audio wires. The bag provided by Dell is also very good & you can comfortably take this unit on travel.

Summary: Trying to figure out why there are a few comments putting down this projector? For the money, it's PERFECT. Some comparisons with competitors proved that this was the best bang for the buck. Period. Can't believe some smart-***** took the time to out of their work day (at Dell's competition?) to slam a 699 projector! LOL!!!
Anyways, almost 2 months in, no problems (plus we decided on this projector since the bulbs were cheaper). -

Pros: if it works its great
Cons: bad dell service
Summary: After using it less then 2 hours every month for two years the beamer broke down and dell refused to repair it. I had treated it very carefully.
Since it was a gift for work in germany,so bought in germany, and I live in holland, they made a tremendous deal in even wanting to look at it. I had to buy another beamer! bah dell!! bad service, never again with them.
