"The Dell 3200mp does not work with 720p and 1080i like it is advertised!"
Pros: This projector is great through the RCA and even when you use it with a computer through the M1 connection.
Cons: Many people are having problems with the Dell 3200mp when connecting a XBOX360 or PS3 through the M1 connection for 720p and 1080i use. This dell product does not due what it is advertised to do.
Summary:Updated
Here is something I found "I am running into the same problem with my Dell 3200MP. I can run 480 with my RCA but when I got to 720p or 1080i through my M1 connection it says out of range. This is not good because Dell says the 3200MP supports 720p and 1080i and when I broadcast at those res the screen goes blank. I have contacted Dell and they said it is the XBOX360. They also say PS3 is having the same problems. So I challenged dell. Their M1 connection is limited toa higher rres then 720p or 1080i and the port restrictions for the range are not allowing it to project the 720p or 1080i range because of an internal restriction. I took two HDMI TVs and the picture was great at 720p and 1080i butas soon as I move it over to the dig/an M1 connection on the Dell 3200MP the same screen saying out of range apears. I am currently waiting a call back from Dell on this matter. My question to them is how could it be the 360 or the PS3 if they work just fine on HDMI TVs but it does not work on the projector?"
