Excellent picture quality, DLP (minimal rainbow effect), 1080p, good build quality, lightweight and portable. Amazing value, especially when refurbished. Crystal clear picture from nearly all angles, especially when on a decent screen.
Rainbow effect is definitely there but almost imperceptible. 1080p is only at 60Hz, but it's very very hard to tell unless you're watching something really insane on Blu-ray and even then, it's just nothing but clear. It's imperceptible otherwise. This

This is the centerpiece of my home theater. I wanted a high-end DLP projector but I didn't want to pay current prices. I ended up buying a refurbished model of the IN35W and I got a great deal. I've been nothing but satisfied with the product. The picture is just beautiful and bright. I play Nintendo Wii (which is only at 480p) on my 100" pull-down screen and this projector impresses everyone. It's absolutely lifelike and it's just wonderful for gaming. The DLP quality if just beautiful, crisp, and bright.
With 1080p at 60Hz, it might give you pause, but don't worry. It's beautiful and handles fast action without a hitch. I game with a Wii (max 480p) and a Playstation 3 (1080p) and I've never had one inch of issue.
I highly recommend playing Wii Sports with this projector. Even at 480p...it's the biggest, baddest Wii experience I've ever seen and it's sure to impress your friends.
I mounted it to the ceiling with a high-quality pull-down screen. My ceiling mount has a quick-detach so I can pull it down and take it with me if need be (to work) but I've never done it. I got a 16x9 pull-down screen and it works great. Get a GOOD screen...the projector looks so much better.
All in all, I love the projector. It's a great value and is easy to live with.
