Pros HD signals looks clear. Almost no posterization at all and most poeple don't notice those things anyway. Decent colors, especially after calibration using setup from DVD.
Cons Bulb life seems a little short compared to expected life.
Picture dim in well lit room.
Some light greys and skin tones can look slightly green but most people won't notice.
Green is a little too green but most people won't notice and I'm picky.
Summary Would recommend to anyone who can limit light in home theater room! Very easy to use and menu is simple. Auto detects signal and keystone.
Bulbs go out every 6 months unless I vacuum the all around the case and lense once a week; and I only watch TV for a couple of hours a day max, but usually a few hours a week, in which case they last at least a year.
Picture is dim with lights on in room, especially after calibration since I use in "eco" mode to make bulb last longer.
Pros Use it for home theater. Easy to setup. Small footprint, reasonably priced (Been shopping for a year now)and when used with DVD or other HDTV device the picture quality is outstanding not bad with analog either. Currently using it with a Shuttle Multi med
Pros Small light weight, takes a beating and keeps on ticking. Bulb is still original.
Cons Cost is a bit high. Now Im looking for another and Ack! no price drop in over 2 years!! Incredable
Cons After less than 20 hours of use, the image suddenly has a narrow white line running from top to bottom that cannot be removed. Try and get NEC to respond with help. I dare you.
