The VT47 is the very cost efficient ultraportable projector for various applications. With a resolution of 800 x 600 pixels and a light intensity of 1,500 ANSI lumens, it is the best presentation partner for schools and medium sized companies. Even for home cinema VT47 is an excellent choice, because of its easy handling and its price/value ratio. The various connectivity options (incl. RGB-out) and the short throw lens are only some advantages of the VT47. The auto keystone correction of +-30° brings the picture always into the right shape, if the projector has to project up or down in a certain angle to the wall, without any manual adjustment. The VT47 is almost noiseless with its 28 db and therefore highly recommended for classrooms, small meeting rooms and home cinema. One of the new features is the manual wall color correction, that adapts the colors so that the presentation always looks bright, even if you project on a chalk board or colored wall. To save costs on the lamps the VT47 has an eco mode that extends the lamp life up to 4000 hrs. and in addition an off timer to shut down the projector automatically after a certain time.User opinions

cool, but put some more cash and get the vt470
Pros: cheap, affordable
Cons: not all that bright
Review: This is a very basic entry-level projector, which I consider the smaller brother to the VT470.
In fact, from taking it out of the box, it looks exactly like the VT470, but its brightness is below that of the already-lacking VT470.
The features are more or less the same, in terms of resolution, clarity, and so on - my advice to anyone buying a projector, would be to put a couple dollars more and buy the VT470, since they are the same projector, but with different brightness levels - something to think about, though...
Do they have a brighter replacement bulb for the VT47 which would boost its brightness level?

Exelent projector for the price!!
Pros: Its my first proyector and I really love it, nice quality in a wall =) I am waiting now my 84x84 screen to see what it have
Cons: Maybe they can add a DVI port to be 100% satisfaction I dont know if it is possible as I told its my frst projector.
