"Great projector for the price"
Pros: Inexpensive; easy to set up; great picture
Cons: None (for the price)
Summary: This is the best projector under $2000 on the market. CNET, and other technophiles, who have $5,000 to spend, might think it does not do a good job compared to the DLP HD projectors. That's like saying a Ford is a terrible car compared with a BMW.
When I got my Z3 (September 05), the next cheapest DLP HD projector (native HD resolution) was over $3,000. I got mine for under $1500. That's half the price.
All this price stuff aside, I've seen other projectors and they didn't blow me away anymore than this one does. It's easy to set up; the lens shifts are INCREDIBLY useful as anyone who has done the home setup themselves knows; the colors are bright and beautiful.
The only criticism I have is that it does not do a good job scaling regular tv into HD; and you are better off leaving boxes on the sides of a 4:3 signal. Other than that, I think this machine is fantastic.
