Best Projector. Beats the Optoma HD72by The White Warrior - November 29, 2006
Pros: This home theater projector unit has a great contrast ratio of 10,000:1. The picture is so crisp you can taste it. The brightness is awesome. Product cost is very low for what it provides.
Cons: I think the aesthetic appearance could be more appealing.
Review: For me, the toughest decision was choosing between the Optoma HD72 & this beast of a machine, the Sony VPLHS60. Alot of reviews had been written for the Optoma HD72 saying how awesome it was so I was pretty skeptical about going out on my own to get the Sony VPLHS60, but after reviewing all the specs the only differences were that Optoma was a DLP vs. LCD, 5000:1 vs. 10000:1 contrast ratio, and about 150 Lumens higher for the Optoma. Now even though I was told the more Lumens you have the more girls you get, I disagree, because I am getting a ton of chicks with the Lumens I got with Sony. I understand I am giving this product a 10 and it is because of the specifications, function, and overall cost in comparison to it High End perfomance in its class. Sony VPLHS60 is the way to go.
