If you are looking for good sound at a reasonable price this is the system.
Pros: Good power, good sound & picture quality.
Cons: Limited output & input jacks.

I recently purchased this unit on ebay. To my delight it was one of the best systems I've owned considering the modest price for this unit. The picture quality is good and the sound this unit punches out is amazing for its small stature. Very nice slim design. If you have any problem with the dvd unit you can hookup your own dvd unit via the optical input and use the sound decoders built into the unit. Just amazed at the sound this little unit can push. No problem reccomending this unit.

good value, good looks... great sound
Pros: great picture when you use the progressive scan, excellent sound reproduction
Cons: some features aren't instantly accesible as you have to cycle through the functions on the remote; cd/dvd player takes quite a while to load however the picture does have excellent reproduction

I just bought this system recently on e-Bay and overall I have to say that I am quite impressed with it. I viewed some of my DVD's on this system already and I find the picture is quite vivid especially with the progressive scan feature. The sound is actually very good- with the 100 W subwoofer it gives excellent depth and gives the system its punch. I'm a huge fan of rock music myself and I played several of my CD's ranging from Led Zeppelin to Metallica, Tom Petty to 3 Doors Down, Disturbed, Tool... I just wanted to really crank up the system to impress that hot looking woman who lives across from me... unfortunately I live in an apartment building and I don't want to disrupt the neighbours. Luckily the "night" function comes in handy for one's listening pleasure at nighttime.
However several components I'm disappointed with gives me the impression that the system looks chintzy. The remote has several buttons that you have to push repeatedly to get a certain function to work. For example in order for me to toggle between my DVD function and my auxillary digital input where I have my Star Choice digital sattelite system I have to cycle through my FM/AM radio functions as well as the TV/video input and an additional auxillary input. As well some of the on screen graphics look fairly so-so.
Another complaint I have is the DVD/CD player takes a bit of time to load up.
Nevertheless this actually is a good home theatre system. If you're looking for something with quite a punch in its sound, great picture quality, and a sleek looking receiver this is one system to look at.
