"best for the money"3.5 starson by Waltd1966
Pros: East set-up, great features, easy menu to use, built in wifi
Cons: The speakers are just okay
Summary: I was looking for a HTIB system on a limited budget and narrowed it down to two choices. The Sony e570, or the LG lhb535. I am so glad i made the LG pick.
After opening the box, everything was labeled for ease of the set-up, the wires were color coded and each wire had a mark for positve and negative. It didn't take long to have the system up and running. It found my wireless internet without a problem and it only took another couple of minutes to run through the set-up to adjust the speakers. It has 3 hdmi ports (one out, 2 in) -- i Had to buy the hdmi cable and and optical cable for the cable box. but i don't know of any HTIB that comes with either of those anyway.
The first time i played it i was hooked. It sounded great, especially the radio which makes it great for parties. We hooked up netflix and even though it didn't sound as good in movie mode it still was much better than just the tv speakers i had before. If your looking for one of these systems just make sure you buy one made after june 2010 as i have heard of earlier mdoels having a pseaker whistling problem.. i Got this at best buy for $355 and for the money it just can't be beat. The Sony might have better speakers, but from what i know it isn't as user friendly as the LG and i don't know how it would have meshed with my panasonic tv.
Bottom line -- If you want something thats easy to set-up and use and sounds good this is what you want.
