Absolutely the BEST HTiB on the market today.
Pros: Plenty of power, decodes all HD audio formats, 4 HDMI repeaters, a mulitude of sound options, Audyssey set up, very good subwoofer, infitite connectivity.
Cons: Speakers are good, but could be better. Speaker wire too small - needs to be at least 18 gauge.

Great value for money. Full of features. Good Quality
Pros: Feature rich, loads of connectivity options, well sized speaker drivers, HDMI processing works better than most Onkyo systems, Audyssey makes it even more perfect.
Cons: 1. System's speakers cannot drive full volume, and over a period of time, one can find downsides there.
2. Speaker wiring is a compromise in quality.
However, there are two constraints that I experienced:
Firstly, full volume is not totally clear for a long stretch of listening.
Solution: Replace only the Front channel speakers (and centre could be replaced too). I attached the Bose 301, as front speakers, and the system performance increased by 10-15%. Though I'm NOT a liker of Bose, the 301 is one of its very few speakers with gives balanced sound output in required frequencies as a front chanel speaker. The advantage of adding Bose - sound now fills the room more completely, and the sweet spot (area of the room where sound is the best) seemed to have enlarged. Also, the full volume is no more a problem, even when the system is played for long.
Secondly, speaker wires are the only part that show a compromise on quality.
Solution: Replace them if you feel the need. Purchase a wire of suitable gauge for the length you require.
I did that, and my system is now perfect for my room - 10'x12'. With the help of Audyssey, the set-up was a jiffy, and the sound quaity improved noticeably (even in the case of the Bose speaker's output).
It is clearly the best system in this price out there. I compare the sound quality to THX certified systems, and this system does not lack much. For example, after the changes I made, my HT-S6100 is as good as my brother's HT-S9100THX, which is costlier, even after the extra money I spent on the Bose 301 and speaker wires.

Excellent system, 100% satisfaction achieved!
Pros: Excellent sound! Plenty of audio/video connectivity options.Great speaker setup utility Audyssey2EQ.iPod dock included is a very nice bonus. Instructions were easy to follow to get everything setup quickly (this is my first real Home Theater system).
Cons: Only thing I can't figure out how to do is turn off the Display so that when I'm watching my movies in the dark, I don't have to see the Display characters, but this is not much of a "con", I am completely satisfied.

Impressive piece of machinery
Pros: Perfect for those of us who have a Blu Ray and an LCD. There's 3 HDMI inputs, HD-DVR, Blu Ray, and XBox. Then 1 HDMI output to the LCD. This is the perfect system until your ready for that $2500 system.
Cons: It was time consuming to piece together. The speaker wire is that of every other manufacturer, thin, but easily remedied.
